What Causes Severe Pain In Upper Abdominal Area Post An Injury?

I fell yesterday down some stairs and landed on my knee and stomach. I have aches and pains, but noticing that I have lots of pain when I move around top of abdominal area. This could not be ribs? Or could it be just bruising within my abdominal area?

There was proabably abdominal wall contusion and oain may persist for up to 2 weeks if I am right. However, if there is increasing pain ,nausea or dizziness you should see doctor as soon as possible since it may indicate lesions or liver or spleen.
