What Causes Severe Pain In Pelvis With Spotting Post Intake Of Postinor?

I took postinor within 24 hours after having sexual intercourse. I started having severe pelvic pain, spotting or bleeding whilse urinating. I feel hallow whilse urinating. What can be the problem? Can you prescribe a pain killer just for this severe pelvic pain? Thanks

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...

Pain in lower abdomen or pelvis could occur after intake of emergency pill as postinor. This pain after intake of pill will disappear in 2-3 days . you could take painkiller like ibuprofen or tranexamic acid.
Bleeding or spotting you had must be breakthrough bleeding due to intake of a emergency pill. This type of bleeding occur normally with in 3 weeks of the pill intake. This is normal feature of pill & there is nothing to be worried about.
Use condom or regular contraceptive pill as method of conception in future. Taking more emergency contraceptive pills can cause problems like irregular periods, ovarian hyper-stimulation syndrome & even infertility.

If problem persists consult a gynaecologist
