What Causes Severe Pain In Lower Left Abdomen With Blood Discharge After C-section?

Hi, I ve had (3) C sections. 1 year after the third C section, during mid cycle of period, I experienced pain in the lower left abdomen together with dead blood and discharge. If I take rest, it is less pain, blood and discharge. If I continue to work, the conditions get worse. During period time, black clot blood exit heavily. I need to know what s happening to me. My Gynecologist does not have any answer for me.

Hello,

Since you had three C - section & you are having complications now, you need to see your gynecologist. Get physically examined.

Get USG done to rule out polyps, fibroid, endometriosis, bladder or bowel injury.

For pain take Spasmol (Spasmoproxyvon), one sos when required. Take antacids & PPI's to feel better.

Avoid doing heavy work. Take iron rich food with protein & calcium. Your treatment will depend upon the pathology detected.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
