What Causes Severe Pain In Lower Hip,fever And Body Chills After Having A Labrum Tear?

I have a labrum tear and cyst in my right hip over the weekend I became ill with a fever, chills, sweats, and severe pain in my lower right ab and hip grown area. Blood test should elevated wbc, low lymphocytes, elevated neutrophils (absolute). Urine had traces of blood and protein. CO scan was negative for appendicitis or ruptured spleen. No signs of bladder, kidney, urinary tract infection. Is it possible that the cyst on my hip could have ruptured and cause and infection?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

It can be unrelated infection or cyst rupture. Simple ultrasound needle aspiration test can tell diagnosis which is subjected to microbiological examination. Take medical treatment from local physician.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sunny Madar, General & Family Physician
