What Causes Chills Along With Nausea?

I have this uncomfortable quivering or shaking in my body that sometimes causes nausea feeling, I have had a back injury years ago and neck issues, but never felt this quivering sensation. is it a pinched nerve there is no severe pain like when I had the injury. I move my back around and I hear a snap or a click sound and then it seems to go away, but not for very long before it can come back, making it difficult to sleep at night a lot.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Chills with nausea indicate underlying systemic infection with low grade pyrexia, needs to be evaluated via basic lab tests. Nerve sensation is a separate issue, nothing to do with chills and nausea.

Thank you.
