What Causes Severe Pain In Joints Along With Lower Back Pain?

I am 44 years old and I am suffering from severe joint pain and low back pain . I am a Medical assistant whom does home visits for insurance company, so my job is not strenuous. I hear our patients in their 60s and up complain of body aches and joint pain. I have lost a lot of strength in my left arm. I did see a new Dr. And she thinks it s nerve pain. Do you know why someone my age would be experiencing no energy and joint and back pain?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

If a similar patient comes to my opd I would suggest that at any age chances of arthritis is the same. as you say you have joints pain back pain and weakness, kindly check with your doctor and do your RA factor, CRP, HB, Urea and Creatinine.

If your urea and creatinine comes to be normal drink more water. and have proper exercise daily at least walk for half an hour. Life style modifications can help a lot.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Jilu Joseph, General & Family Physician
