What Causes Severe Pain And Tingling Sensation In Feet?
Hello Doctor Online, My mother is having suffering from an incurable problem regarding her feet, can anyone diagnose her cause of problem and cure? Her Details Name Mrs. Pragna S. Gajjar. Age: 54, Weight around 68 kgs. Height 5ft, .. Problem: She is unable to sleep at night, she feels trouble during walking, due to extreme tingling, needle type, hot pointy pain at her feet, she describes like she is walking over a fire, sometimes she cry a lot saying she would prefer to die but not to bare this pain, can anyone help us on this please? i can send you you whatever reports you need. waiting to hear from you. Burning sensation or tingling sensation of feet is typical of peripheral neuropathy. The most common cause of peripheral neuropathy is diabetes. Kindly check your mother's blood sugar levels both fasting and after 2 hours of food. In case she is a known diabetic,check her sugar levels and HbA1c levels.
Strict diet changes ,regular medication and mild physical activity like walking for 20 mins should be followed everyday. Check sugar levels every 20 to 30 days.
