What Causes Severe Night Sweats?

I never had any symptoms of menopause when my period stopped at the age of 48. I ll be 65 in August and for the past week I ve experienced the worse night sweats ever! I ve heard of the horror stories from many women regarding night sweats, I thought they were just exaggerating, but I know now they were not.

I would recommend you to do a couple blood count and T3, T4,TSH.Hyperthyroidism can cause night sweats also many other diseases that can change blood formula such as Hodgkin limfoma.
Also some other diseases such tuberculosis, carcinoid, pheocromocitoma can cause night sweats.
