What Causes Severe Nausea, Diarrhea And Anorexia?

starting about 6 months ago i started to have a decrease in appetite and occasional nausea while eating. i have lost approx. 13 lbs. and although i am usually constipated, the past 2 weeks have gotten worse. Going for 6 days until i had a movement. And in the past 2 weeks the nausea has worsened also. As soon as the food hits my stomach, most of the time, i become extremely nauseated. This worsened 2 weeks ago after being perscribed Diclofenac, Tramadol, and Cyclobenzaprine after my back went out. The second day on meds i experienced severe diarrhea and passed out for only a few seconds. I stopped the meds at that point.

Hello
I share your concern

History of weight loss 13 lbs with nausea and constipation warrnats detailed evaluation to find out underlying cause.

I would advise you to consult your GP or family physician for a battry of tests like blood for hemoglobin, CBC, ESR, liver function test, blood sugar, serum amylase and lipase, ultrasound abdomen and endoscopy if need be.

You should not take diclofenac and tramadol empty stomach, along with these painkilles I would advise you to take antiacidity medicines like pantoprazole or ranitidine group of drugs with antacids because these medicines causes hyperacidity and can lead to ulcer.

You can take laxative or stool softeners like liquid paraffin for constipation.
you can take antiemetic drug like domperidone for nauseating feeling.

you should take dietary fiber supplement or lots of fresh fruits and vegetables.
you should avoid fatty fried spicy and junk food.

Hope I could answer your question, please do let me know if you have any more queries, I will be happy to help you.
Best wishes
