What Causes Severe Nausea , Abdominal Pain And Stomach Bloating?

I am experiencing constant bloating and fullness after eating certain foods. Sometimes afterwards, can experience nausea & abdominal pain which may range in severity. It also comes with a headache at times. I do not know if this is symptomatic of a sensitivity or an allergeric reaction to foods containing wheat or gluten. I am also hypoglycemic and have slightly elevated blood pressure both which may or may not factor into this situation.

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Certain foods causing bloating is an indication that your GI system is having an allergy to it.
The aftereffects are nausea, pain or loose stools and occasionally constipation.
Hypoglycemia and mild hypertension may be a part of this symptom complex.
IF these are normal when you do not have any problem and showing up on intestinal allergy can indicate that this may then be connected to it.
I would advise you the following:
Make a written list of the foods, additives and beverages that cause you this problem. Over a period of time your Doctor or a Dietitian can infer from this list about your sensitivity pattern and guide you accordingly.
And avoidance of all such things is the treatment of choice in such cases.
