What Causes Severe Nasal Congestion During Night Inspite Of Using Nasal Steroids?

Hey, please I need help .I have had nasal congestion for months now. I have been using steroid nasal sprays for montgs also bit it isn't working. The congestion is worse at night when i lay down but it happens everytime. The other nostrill gets better when i lie on the other side but sometimes both nostrils just get blocked

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain the symptoms seems like that of sinus infection leading to mucous formation and congestion.
You should consult an ENT expert and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like Nasal endoscopy and MRI of the sinuses can help in confirming the cause..
In case of Sinusitis only steroid nasal sprays will not help and you should take a course of antibiotics like Azithromycin, anti-inflammatory medicines, decongestants like Sudafed, mucolytics like Bromohexine and do saline nasal irrigations and steam inhalations..
Do warm compresses over the area of sides of nose..
While lying down keep your head slightly raised and chin down to ease in draining to relieving congestion..
