What Causes Severe Muscle Pain In The Legs?

I am having really bad muscle pains in both legs from top of my buttox to my ankles and on my left side from the top of my shoulder to my neck. It feels like every muscle is tight and throbbing. I haven t excersised or done anything strenuous. I don t understand what could be causing it but it s extremely uncomfortable. Should I go to a dr? Nothing I do helps. Tylenol. Motrin. Nothing. Not even hot baths

Hi,

By your history and description, possibility of generalized muscle spasm is more likely. This causes spasticity and it is commonly seen with diseases related to brain and spinal cord.

So better to consult neurologist and get done clinical examination and MRI of brain and spine. You may need muscle relaxant drugs and physiotherapy exercises. Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
