What Causes Severe Lower Back Pain And Fever With History Of Kidney Stones?
My boyfriend has severe lower back pain and a fever of 103.2. He passed a kidney stone on Friday night and felt well after that. Last night, he got bad lower back pain and as of noon today has been completely bed ridden and unable to even sit up. Any thoughts?

Lower back pain and fever can be due to urinary tract infection (UTI). UTI can occur in back drop of kidney disease. I suggest you to get urine routine and urine culture.
