General & Family Physician 's  Response
welcome to Health care magic.
1.Your symptoms are seen in the irritable bowel syndrome.
2.Same symptoms are seen in the acute gastro-enteritis, and conditions like bowel obstruction and simple gaseous state.
3.Bowel pathology will be better picked in the CT with contrast.
4.As ultrasound abdomen is not very good in picking the bowel pathology with presence of gas.
5.I would recommend you to get an appointment and no needful investigations as your GP indicates.
Hope it helps you. Wish you a good health.
