What Causes Severe Itching On The Scrotum, Inner Thighs And Buttocks?

My scrotum, thighs, inner thighs, buttock keeps itching all day and its very embarrassing and irritating, Its been itching since a month now, it is increasing, ive got some kind of lumps on my scrotum, which if teased gets swollen or otherwise is loose, theres almost ten such lumps, they're big and red, please help im worried.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of severe itching on the scrotum, inner thighs and buttocks. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like allergic reaction, improper hygiene, rosacea , side effect of certain medicine , impetigo and hormonal changes. It could be due to frictional heat produced in body. Need not to worry much. I would suggest you to avoid any kind of cosmetic product , apply only petroleum jelly and take benadryl twice a day . You should consult dermatologist for proper examination. Doctor may order allergy test, skin patch test and blood test to confirm the diagnosis. Doctor may order anti bacterial , corticosteroid ointment and anti fungal . Apply cold compresses to reduce redness and itchiness .
