What Causes Severe Itchiness And Thick White Deposits In Clitoris?

Hi I m having a problem on the brown area (I am Af-Am) near my clitoris. A few days ago in my sleep I could feel myself rubbing my clitoris vigoriously because it was itching then I began to have this sharp pain like I scratched myself. I looked down when I woke up to find the brown area near my citoris was swollen with painful cut like bumps. the area was very itchy for 2 days then they became white like ulcers and my clit has a cottage cheese around it under the hood so I cleaned it and the brown area and the swelling has gone down the ulcers seem like they are healing back to my original skin color. What could this be?

I have gone through your query. Your problem can be most likely due to yeast infection. A swab test will be helpful to rule out this. For such cases clotrimazole application locally will be helpful. Clotrimazole is available as over the counter also. But if cuts and ulcers are there then i would recommend ointments or creams with combination of anti fungal like clotrimazole anti bacterial like neomycin and corticosteroid like betamethasone. Avoid soaps and irritants to wash the area and instead you can use saline or warm water.
