What Causes Severe Headache Along With Dizziness And Fatigue?

I am a 36 year old female, thin, active and in relatively decent shape but my blood pressure is steadily around 190/140. I have been getting terrible headaches, my bones ache and I feel dizzy and often get tired. I have been taking several vitamins, increased my potassium, don t drink alcohol and try to do something semi active daily but it is not helping. Any suggestions?

Hello,

Welcome to Healthcare Magic.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

Reading your query, I am concerned about your Blood pressure. 190/140 is quite high for a 36 year old woman. Normally at your age, BP should be around 120/80. Very high blood pressure can cause headaches, tiredness, and light-headedness.

Can you see a doctor straightaway or go to Emergency Department? Your blood pressure needs to be reduced as soon as possible to prevent you from developing complications like stroke etc.

The doctors would also need to investigate why you developed this high BP. I would advise you to with-hold all your vitamin supplements and potassium supplements until you see your doctor, as they may pose a problem if your raised BP has been found to be due to a kidney cause.

I wish you a speedy recovery.

I hope this answer has helped you.

Thank you
Regards
