Hi,

It is not recommended to increase the dose of any medication without consulting with a healthcare professional first. There could be several potential causes of your head pain, including migraines, tension headaches, sinusitis, or even dental problems. It is important to see a healthcare professional who can evaluate your symptoms and determine the underlying cause of your head pain.

In addition to medication, there are other treatment options that may be helpful for managing head pain, including relaxation techniques, stress management, physical therapy, and acupuncture.

It is important to follow up with your healthcare provider and discuss your symptoms and treatment options. They may recommend adjusting your medication dosage or switching to a different medication if Amitop is not effective in managing your symptoms.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
