What Causes Severe Dizziness After Tooth Extraction?

Hi, I m a 19 year old female who had all 4 wisdom teeth extracted 4 days ago under general anesthetics. I ve finished the antibiotics, and have been taking neuromol. I don t feel any pain, and I have been constantly eating food, but I couldn t get out of the bed since the surgery, I feel dizzy and almost fainted a few times from standing. Is this normal and is it possible to improve these conditions? Many thanks.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It could be side effects of general anaesthesia. Don't worry your symptoms will improve slowly. Check your BP and rule out postural hypotension. Otherwise you should be fine.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Palleti Sujith Kumar
