What Causes Severe Cough With Green Throat Mucus?

I have been coughing since the first week in December. Continuous coughing. Spitting up green hard mucus. Feel like I can t breathe. I ve been to the doc about 6 times. He gave me steroids, antibiotics 3 rounds of each. They did a cat scan and said my heart is enlarged. They also did an endoscopy and said I have a large hiatal hernia. I can t take this cough much longer . Any suggestions

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I have gone through your problems. I have seen many patients like you in my clinic. According to my opinion, you should check for tuberculosis and pneumonia, etc. You have a respiratory infection that leads to continuous coughing. Second thing, you should change the doctor. As per your story, the doctor was giving you steroid that is not acceptable. So, kindly consult other MD physician.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nirav Nimavat
