What Causes Severe Cough, Shoulder Pain And Neck Pain?

I have had a really deep cough the last 2 days, with it being worst today. I can tell that what I am coughing up is infected. I don t believe I have a fever and I am aching all over. My biggest concern is how bad the base of my neck and my shoulders are hurting. Is this something that I should be overly concerned about?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, most of the cough are allergic one unless it is being diagnosed infective, and if it is allergic one then it may long last, if this is associated with other symptoms like fever loss of weight and appetite then it need to be sent for investigation, shoulder pain and neck pain could be due to muscular spasm and it can be due to cough again hope this information helps.
