What Causes Severe Breast Soreness Despite Having Negative UPT?
I have my,last period in nov 26 2015, end in Dec first week of dec 2015. 3 weeks after that my breast started to get very sore and tender. I havent got my period for dec just yet. & im started to get sore breast. Can barely sleep on my side due to sore breast. Also took a pregnancy home test 2 days ago. Both came back negative. Can I be pregnant but too early to test it ?
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern... The most common hormonal breast soreness comes from an increase in the level of oestrogen before a period. This causes milk ducts and glands to swell, trapping fluid in the breasts. Most women have tenderness up to a period and in some woman it can be right through it. Usually the condition goes away in time. Other common reasons for soreness in one or both breasts are wearing a bra that doesn’t fit, stress, consuming a lot of caffeine ( coffee, tea , cola), intake of hormonal contraceptives etc.
If you continue to have breat tenderness, along with missed period blood test for Beta HCG is advised.
Refer to a gynaecologist Hope this information helps
