What Causes Severe Backache Along With Pain In The Shoulders And Neck?

I have been having severe back pain for about a week and a half; mostly lower but then turned into shoulders and neck. Monday I had a really bad headache, most likely a migraine. My back hurts, my head hurts, my hips hurt. This morning my throat started feeling almost like it has a lump in it, if that makes any sense. I get dizzy and exhausted very easily now the last couple of days. All I want to do it sleep.

hi sir/mam, your symptoms appear to be a viral illness with myalgia, headache, throat pain mostly an upper respiratory infection.to those who visit my clinic with similar complaints, I usually advise the following
1)if fever with chills is persistent, blood sampling for malarial parasite and urine for culture and sensitivity.
2) a productive cough, if present, for >3 weeks, chest x-ray and sputum examination are recommended.
as an empirical treatment is first necessary, the following is advised
1)acetaminophen 650mg every 6th hourly if fever is recurrent
2)for pains, tab.ibuprofen or aceclofenac can be taken twice daily.caution : to be avoided in patients with kidney malfunctioning.
3)a penicillin or a cephalosporin antibiotic can be used if no allergy history is noted.tab.amoxicillin with clavulanic acid 625 mg twice daily for 5 days.
4)cephalosporin antibiotic like tab.cefpodoxime proxetil twice daily for 5 days can be used.
5)warm water gargles and adequate hydration are essential.
even after the above-mentioned treatment, symptoms persist,you can have a consultation with an internal medicine physician hope my answer gets you rid off your worries.any further doubts are always welcome.its my pleasure to be of any help to you.thank you.take care.bye.
