What Causes Severe Back Pain While Having Shingles?

I have shingles (for a week now) Small rash on back/shoulder. Pain is on back, higher than the rash, and pain goes around to my right breast. Have been to Dr. She gave me a pain med. and a med. for the virus, also capsasin tom put on rash. Pain is worse at night and very painful in my breast. ( only a small rash on back that seems not to change) My question is: is the pain going to get worse? I have an experienced Dr. I just want a 2nd opiinion

No the pain won't get worse.
pain disappears after the rash appears ee call this pre herpetic pain characteristic of shingles no need to worry take some painkiller as given by your doctor and rest.
