What Causes Severe Abdominal Cramps During 4 Weeks Of Pregnancy?

I am 4 weeks pregnant. I have cramps that feel like period pains and they seem to be getting worse. Every 30 minutes i feel like im being pulled down from the inside. They re worse when I stand up. No bleeding. On antibiotics for bladder infection. 33 years old. First pregnancy. Thank you.

I understand your concern.
Mild cramps /heaviness in lower abdomen is common in early pregnancy But if you feel the cramps sever, it can be due to-
- your bladder infection not being under control.Urine e3xamination/ urine culture & sensitivity test & urologist's consultation for reconsideration of treatment plan is advised.
- Early pregnancy with low hormone progesterone. You are 4 weeks pregnant, Blood HCG test would revile the pregnancy condition/ need of hormone supplementation. Consult your Gynac for specific treatment.
