Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

I understand your concern and would explain that your symptoms could be related to a panic attack.

Anyway, I would recommend consulting with your attending physician for a physical exam and some tests:

- a resting ECG
- a chest X-ray study
- complete blood count, PCR, ESR for inflammation.

Gastroesophageal reflux cannot be excluded either. In such a case, performing a fibrogastroscopy may be needed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
