Hi Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...
As per your symptoms you must have sore throat due to why you have trouble swallowing your spit. Back pain should be as result of fever or rise in body temperature.
Sore throat can be both bacterial or viral in nature. Viral infection take time to get treated. You could try following remedies too.
1.Saltwater gargle- gargling several times a day with warm salt water can reduce swelling in the throat and loosen mucus, helping to flush out irritants or bacteria.Dissolve half a teaspoon of salt in one cup of water. Just remember to spit the water out after gargling, rather than swallowing.
2.Sucking on cough drops stimulates saliva production, which can help keep your throat moist
3.Take a liquid diet & take rest

Refer to your doctor

Don't worry you would be okkay
Hope this information helps
