What Causes Ring Worm Like Rashes With History Of Having PUJ Blockage?
Hello my mum has in the past a PUJ blockage and had a rash along with it she has had some same symptoms now on the opposite side and she also seems to be breaking out in what looks like a ring worm rash. Does this seem to be the same.Thank you Leanne

Yes it is same. It is tinea a fungal infection. PUJ is a separate &different problem ,has nothing to do with it. Diagnosis -scrappings of the lesion in H2O2 can be examined microscopically. Treatment is with miconazole cream &1tab fluconazole 150mg daily
