What Causes Right Sided Stomach Pain While Having Chronic Pain In Back And Legs?

My husband is a chronic pain sufferer, back and legs, due to a 1990s injury. Suddenly last evening, he developed a severe pain in his stomach right below his rib cage. He is not sick to stomach or any other unusual symptoms, no fever, no sweats. He say it feels like someone punched him hard. He is 62. mill
