What Causes Redness On Penile Shaft?

Hello Doctor, I had unprotected sex about 5 times in a night partying with a girl. 3 of the times were protected and 2 were unprotected. I noticed I have red skin on my penile shaft. I thought it may have been dry blood but after taking a shower some of the redness persisted. I noticed I could peel this red skin like the elmers liquid glue. I have researched and it say s it does not seem to be an STD but more of like a skin infection or irritation. What are your thoughts? Please help!

Sexologist 's  Response
Hi,

It is mandatory that you should be doing a sexually transmitted disease panel of test - unknown person & unprotected sex. If every test came negative then we can think of bacterial or fungal infection and start treatment accordingly. Doing a blood sugar can help you.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. S. R. Raveendran, Sexologist
