What Causes Redness In Eye After Splashing Of Hot Sauce Into It?
hot sausage grease splashed into the corner of my eye this morning - it was over in an instant; however, it definitely went into my eye and not on the lid - - it was not red all day and my vision was not affected; however, now the corner is extremely red and the blood vessels leading more into the center of my eye look red and irrated - - i'm now worried that i did more damage than i thought or by not treating it all day, have done some type of irreversible damage?
Hello It seems from the history that grease splashed into your eyes and now you are having redness and irritation of the eyes. The immediate treatment should be to wash the eyes to remove the grease. It seems you have not done that, now you can do that. The next treatment depends on the severity of the damage caused by the grease. Generally the treatment requires use of antibiotics and artificial tears eye drops. Since it requires eye examination to remove any retained grease matter, I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and prescription of drugs.
Thank you
