What Causes Red Itchy Lumps On Leg, Lower Abdomen And Back?
Hi, my nephew just got undressed to get in the tub and we noticed small red bumps that are raised and irritated. He continues to tell us that they itch and they are located on his lower stomach, back on one leg and his upper neck line. what could this be or what could cause this reaction?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you red itchy lumps on leg, lower abdomen and back . Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to may reasons like contact dermatitis , an allergic reaction , side effect , sensitivity to sunlight , eczema , psoriasis and scarlet fever . The symptoms can also occur due to hives . I would suggest you to get your skin clean with mild soap and cold water , avoid sun exposure , apply petroleum jelly only and take benadryl twice a daya . If condition doesn't get better then consult dermatologist for proper examination . Doctor will examine physically , order skin test and blood test . Doctor may prescribe immunosuppressants , corticosteroid ointment or antibiotics .
