What Causes Red Bumps On The Chest, Neck And Collarbone Area?
2 days ago little red bumps appeared on my chest, neck, and collarbone area. They have spread down my shoulder and back of my neck. I also have a small patch in my face. They re itchy and painful. Benadryl and anti-itch creams have not done anything. What s happenening
Bumps that appear on the body is most of the times allergic rash which may be caused by a drug, infection, or foods etc.
However one close deferential we should consider is viral exanthem. The virus can cause skin rashes on the body and the fact the Benadryl didn't help you need considerations.
I would advise that if Benadryl has not worked, you should see your doctor now. It may be a viral infection or a more serious allergic reaction.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Mahboob Ur Rahman, General & Family Physician
