What Causes Recurring Pain In Upper Abdomen?

I have been having pain in the center of my upper abdomen where the ribs meet. also pain on the left and right side of my upper abdomen just along the lower rib line. It is most notable when crouching, bending over, picking something up from the floor, or with sudden movement like coughing, or laughing. It seems to linger for most of the day once it is aggravated. I have had a few episodes of the pain waking me up at night. Sometimes the pain is worse when lying down. Some times it hurts on the right side, other times on the left. I have been checked for gallstones with ultrasound which was normal. Pipida scan was normal. Upper endoscopy revealed minor erosion. Flexible sigmoidoscopy was normal. No sign of h pylori, negative for celiac disease, and negative colitis. Abdominal CT scan without contrast was normal. I am now entering my eighth month of symptoms without relief. What should be my next step?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, the most common cause of upper abdomen pain is hyperacidity and some time it could be due to GERD (Gastroesophagus reflux disease) if I would be doctor of this case then I would treat this case with "Tab Omeprazole 40 mg and Domperidone 30 mg" once in day for five weeks avoid coffee, alcohol, smoking, prior to bed, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
I find this answer helpful
