What Causes Recurring High Fever?

I suffered high fever before 15 days. Suddenly my body started shivering. Doctor gave me some tablets and in 3 days I recovered fully. Today again suddenly I got same type of fever. I went to another doctor. He gave me dolo, some amoxlin combination and citrezen. Fever is between 101 to 103.He suggested me that no blood test is required. If it is virul fever, why I for it again within span of 2 weeks. Pls suggest.

Fever is a symptom of an underlying disease. There are many causes of fever such as malaria, typhoid, infectious mononucleosis, TB, dengue etc.
Advice
1.     Tablet Taxim – O 100 mg every 12 hours per oral for 7 days
2.     Tablet Dolo per oral if fever occurs
3.     Cold water sponging if fever is more than 100 degree Farenheight
4.     Investigations
a.     CBC
b.     ESR
c.     Widal test
d.     blood smear for malarial parasite
e.     dengue NS1 antigen
Consult a doctor with reports if fever is not relieved by above measures.
