Hi,
You may be suffering from a headache syndrome such as bad tension-type
headaches or Migraines that could also have a vertiginous component (i.e. spinning sensation) in which case it would be called
Migrainous vertigo. Usually, vertigo and headaches are separated from one another by a day or 2 in this type of problem.
If
dizziness and headache come together AND if your visual acuity is also affected then, you may be having Migraine with aura. Your best option is to see either a
neurologist or headache specialist who may do a very thorough neurological examination and then, review the
MRI scan to see if it should be possibly redone for any reason with contrast (for example) or if some other test for the visual problem may be warranted such as something called a visual evoked potential test in case what you are describing is part of an episode of
Optic Neuritis. In this case, an MRI not only of the brain with contrast should be performed but also of the cervical
spinal cord to see if anything can be seen to help in determining an exact diagnosis.
Because of your complaint of hand/eye coordination problems then, as a neurologist, I would order the MRI to be read with special attention to the cerebellopontine angle though the likelihood of something hiding out there is extremely small for the symptoms you refer. Nevertheless, I'd clear the area radiographically.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Dariush Saghafi, Neurologist
