What Causes Recurring Bartholin Cysts?

Hi, I had two rectal abscess about two years ago, a fistula which I had botox for and a an anal tag removed. Since that time about 7 years, I have recurring bartholin cysts on a regular basis. When the pain starts it starts in my back passage and the doctors can t see anything so send me home, I always end up with increasing pain and the cyst either bursts or I end up in hospital Is it possible that my cyst grows inwards towards my back passage I always get symptoms when a cyst is coming, the runs, a sore throat, heart flutters, a pain in the left side of my stomach and general fatigue. Thank you Charlotte

Hello
Bartholin's is an infection related cyst due to inflammation of a gland found at the entrance of vagina.

It has a tendency to recur
if it's so then marsupialization or opening the cyst should be done.
it's a minor surgical procedure which can be done by your OB GYN.

Check out your blood sugar levels as well
