What Causes Recurrent Fever Despite Taking Aleve In The Elderly?

Hello. I m 60 yrs. old and running a fever. I dont know how much. Renting while building a house and everything is n boxes. My husband is recovering. Question is what can I safely take? I don t take meds and I know you have to be careful after age60. I found some alieve and i only take one. My fever keeps returning. Thank you, Tracy Kennedy

Hello Tracy. At your age, Tylenol is probably the safest thing to take for the fever but the most important thing with a fever is to keep up with the fluid loss with plenty of fluids
