What Causes Recurrent Bleeding Scabs On Head Of Child?

My youngest son has a reoccurring scab on his head. I have given him t- gel to use hoping that it would dissolve . Unfortunately that s not the case. He seems to have a perpetual scab. It is not dark as I ex a scab to be though. It is lighter in color. His older sister decided to examine him and after the scab began to come off it bled. This stopped her from further looking at it just helping him keep it clean. We will go to his doctor in the morning, but I have been looking for information to see if this is a doctor visit type concern or a simple explanation. Looks like the doctor will see us tomorrow. This could be a few possible things it seems. To be able to look at it closely may give us the best possible answer. My observation was that it was odd , in that it is not what I have always seen a scab colored as. I recall trying to moisten it and it became sticky. That s when I thought we should try the t gel shampoo. That hasn t gotten rid of it. Your thoughts?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, looking to the history given here this could be fungal infection and in my opinion this can be well managed with Selenium shampoo apply this on scalp prior to bathe at least half an hour before for three days, hope this information helps, take care.
I find this answer helpful
