What Causes Raw And Sore Throat, Fatigue And Dizziness?

I have a very raw throat, my throat from my glands all the way down (on the outside) are swollen and sore to the touch, it feels like someone is sitting on my chest, very fatigued, dizzy and fluid behind my ears. I ve had a roof leak since October, should I be worried? The doc gave me zyntac and I ve had these symptoms since December. Then the vomiting started at least 2/day for a month.

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms are suggestive of an infection. For this reason, I would recommend consulting with your attending physician for a physical exam and some tests:
- A chest X-ray study
- Complete blood count, PCR, ESR for inflammation
- ASO titer for streptococcal infection
- A throat discharge bacterial culture.

You should discuss with your doctor on the above tests.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
