Hello,

It does not look like a side effect of Oxybutynin, though you should not get totally dependent on this medication. Do pelvic floor exercises, stop weight lifting, stop smoking, cut off caffeine, fight incontinence by avoiding constipation & losing weight.

Rashes can be due to some allergic reaction (dryness of skin/mouth), wear cotton clothes, add moisture to the air, stay well hydrated, take ORS, use gentle herbal creams & toiletries. Apply moisturizer immediately after washing/bathing. Take Vitamin E(Evion-400). Apply Hydrocortisone cream, calamine lotion, coconut/olive oil in the area affected. Take anti-allergic, Levocetirizine, once daily for 5 days.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
