Hi,

Normal resting heart rate for adults ranges from 60 to 100 beats a minute. Generally, a lower heart rate at rest implies more efficient heart function and better cardiovascular fitness. For example, a well-trained athlete might have a normal resting heart rate closer to 40 beats a minute.

So don't worry, it may vary from between 60-100. In athletes, it may even low.

Avoid caffeinated drinks and alcohol. Avoid smoking. Eat green leafy vegetables then consult your doctor, he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
