Hi welcome to HCM
Infection at surgical site is more common with open heart surgeries.proper wound care and hygeine should be maintained.Get investigations like complete blood picture,QBC for malarial parasite, chest xray,2D ECHO.Drugs like Inj.pipizo and mupirocin ointment can be helpful.Daily dressing should be done.Strict monitoring of blood pressure and EKG should be done.If not improved immediately report to your doctor as it may lead to pulmonary edema and heart failure.Consult your cardio thoracic surgeon for expert management.
Thankyou.
