What Causes Puffiness And Swelling Around The Eyes After Using Lamictal Cream?
Hello I just began taking lamictal on Tuesday of this past week. On this past Friday I noticed puffiness and swelling around my eyes plus dry skin in the same area. Today it s spreading into my forehead. I was curious if this could be a side effect or the result of seasonal allergies. I also got a new face cream however I don t put it on my eyes but thought it pertinent information. Thanks
these are signs of an allergic reaction associated with Lamictal they are hives; fever; swollen glands; painful sores in or around your eyes or mouth; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.
Report any new or worsening symptoms to your doctor, such as: mood or behavior changes, depression, anxiety, or if you feel agitated, hostile, restless, hyperactive (mentally or physically), or have thoughts about suicide or hurting yourself.
from your complaint i think it the side effect of the drug you are taking. But if it continues please do go and see your local Doctor for proper review.
