What Causes Protruding Veins Near Temples And Swollen Tonsils?
I have what seems like veins or blood vessels on each Side of my head under hair and visible near temples and are tender to the touch thought they swollen lymph nodes when my tonsils were swollen real bad about a month ago been to doctors and antibiotics no help and no diagnosis also had bad teeth which are now out as of Thursday dentist seems to think there no connection

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have protruding veins near temples and swollen tonsils . Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to may reasons like for tonsillitis strep throat , viral pharyngitis and allergic reaction and for bulging vein on temple area can be due to stress and anxiety , anything that increases the blood flow to the head area can cause a bulging vein , arteritis and clots . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order throat swab test , viral culture test and allergy test . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics , anti allergic , anti inflammatory and doctor may refer you to cardiologist for bulging vein . For now do warm saline gargles , take off your stress and take benadryl twice a day .
