Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have had shortness of breath over the past few months. Went to urgent care with the symptoms they did a chest ex ray claiming to find nothing. Months later still have the shortness of breath. its almost as if I can not finish a sentence without forcing the air from my lungs.
If the chest x ray was completely clear then you may need an ECG or echo to take a look at the heart to make sure that this is not the source of your symptoms. In addition a complete blood count should also be done as well.
Shortness of breath can be related to the heart, lungs or due to anemia. The complete blood count would determine if you have anemia
I hope this helps
