What Causes Pressure And Pain In Vaginal Area?

Hi, I am 34 years old. 5 days ago I woke up with a lot of pressure and cramping in vaginal area. I went pee and it helped a little and within 20 min it was gone. The same thing happened the next day, more just cramping that time. The pressure feeling could have been do to me having to go pee. Two days after that when I wiped there was a very mild brown blood on the paper. The next day I wiped and there was a pea size bloody looking thing on the paper. Now today I have been having lower back pain and very mild cramping. Do you have any idea what this could be.

Hi,

Cramping in the vaginal area is commonly due to infection (STI), vulvodynia can be due to yeast infection, injury or irritation, muscle spasms or hormonal changes. Avoid douches, use unscented toilet paper, rinse vulva with water after urination or intercourse, sit on a cushion, use cold or warm sitzbath. Do regular exercises to strengthen pelvic muscles.

To get relieved from discomfort apply Lidocaine, topical estrogen creams, nerve blocks are also effective. Visit a gynecologist and get physically examined for the brown blood discharge which can be from polyps, hormonal imbalances or PCOS, your treatment will depend upon the developing pathology. For back pain, you can take Acetaminophen (Tylenol).

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
