General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Based on the history you have shared, post intercourse contraception has less efficacy compared to other methods and bleeding can be implantation bleeding but to remain for 5 days is less likely.

Now if you are getting a positive pregnancy test, you should get blood workup for HCG levels as well as an ultrasound pelvis to rule out pregnancy. At times ectopic pregnancy can lead to such bleeding and a positive pregnancy test.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
