Hi lately I ve been having problems remberong things like the tools I need to use at work or what yo tell someone...even in the middle of a sentence I ll forget what I was going to say... Like it feels like my mind is so clouded I can hardly think. Any ideas on what this is?
Poor memory may result due to vitamin deficiencies, poor nutrition, reaction to some medications, head injury (minor/major) and thyroid disorders.
You are suggested to visit ER, get a thorough health check up done. Get physically examined & get evaluated for the pathology causing you such symptoms.
Some emotional problems may get confused with dementia. You may need to consult a GP as well as a Counselor or a Psychotherapist/Physiotherapist.
You may have to go through some Blood & Urine tests, CT Scans. There are medications that are effective, no worries.
Avoid addictions if any. Give heed to fitness and exercise. Stay away from stress, anxiety & depression.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
