General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,
Thanks for using healthcaremagic.com
I have gone through your query and I can understand your concerns.

Probable diagnosis: boils/carbuncle/abscess.
plan of treatment : conservative.
Outcome : Very good.

As per description it seems that you are having minor skin ailments like boils. Its nothing but a collection of pus over superficial part of skin.
You have not mentioned about size,It would be helpful if you provide a brief description about the lesion.
I have seen many such cases in my clinical practice. As a treating physician I would prescribe a short course of antibiotics like ampiclox for five days.If you have pain take analgesics like brufen or paracetamol.Warm compress over the affected area provide symptomatic relief.
If you have collection of pus,it should be drained.A general practitioner or a trained nurse would easily do it.
If you have repeated history of the same, please check your blood sugar level to rule out diabetes.
Please consult a general practitioner if you have persistence of symtoms.

Hope I have answered your query.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.

Dr.Shinas Hussain
